.To foster effective relationships among alumni, the fellowship began organizing reunion programs. During the 2010 Reunion Program, it was decided to formally organize the CCCS OAU Alumni body. The CCCS OAU Alumni organization was officially inaugurated on Saturday, December 18, 2010, at the Awo Hall Café on campus. The alumni body was divided into zones within Nigeria and the United Kingdom, where CCCS alumni resided.
In Nigeria, the alumni were split into the Southwest and Northern regions. Brother Segun Kolawole was appointed as the Southwest Coordinator, and Brother Tokunbo Ogunbajo was designated as the Northern Region Coordinator. Brother Samson Taiwo was tasked with coordinating the alumni in the United Kingdom.
The first meeting of the Alumni Association’s Southwest zone was held on Sunday, March 27, 2011, at the CCC Central Bible Fellowship (CBF) in Ilaje, Bariga, Lagos, and was anchored by Brother Segun Kolawole. Both founding coordinators, Brother Femi Hamed and Brother Imolemitan Ojo, were present, with Brother Femi Hamed hosting the meeting. Following this initial gathering, the Southwest zone began rotating meetings across various Celestial Church parishes in Lagos.
The second alumni meeting took place at CCC Imisioluwa Parish near Toll Gate at Sango Ota, hosted by Brother Imolemitan Ojo. Subsequent meetings were held at CCC Ikeja 2 Parish, Ogba, Lagos, until the decision was made to hold monthly meetings at CCC Agidingbi Parish due to its central location. Brother Rotimi Ajayi played a crucial role in hosting these meetings. These gatherings were scheduled for the last Sunday of each month, following church services.
The first end-of-year get-together for the alumni body was held in December 2011 at CCC Agidingbi Cathedral Parish, Lagos, with Brother Peter Shodeinde chairing the planning committee.
Over time, the monthly alumni meetings expanded to other states, including Osun, Oyo, and Ogun, allowing members from these regions to participate. This expansion facilitated greater inclusivity and strengthened the alumni network across Nigeria.
